10/7 Third General Body Meeting

Thank you to everyone who came to our 3rd General Body Meeting! We hope everyone got to learn more about and sign up for all of our Public Health Committees! The service opportunities, upcoming events, and the meeting’s slides are now up on the site!

We successfully gave out 7 referrals for free eyeglasses during our vision screening at Gateway 180 on October 6th. Thank you to all of the volunteers who came. We hope to do more vision screenings this year if you could not help out at this one.

Dues are $20 and due at the next meeting on October 28th!

9/23 Second General Body Meeting

Join us for our second General Body Meeting tomorrow at 7pm in Morrissey 0600. We will be signing up for Public Health Committees, discussing upcoming events and service opportunities and conducting mock vision screenings.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, the slides will be posted under the Past Meeting and Documents tab. Be sure to turn in your new membership forms and dues by the third General Body Meeting 10/7.

4/12 Update

The St. Louis Public Health Fair is only 2 days away! Bring all your friends to enjoy all the cool activities, speakers, food, and swag to Tegeler Field from 11am-3pm THIS Saturday! If you wish to volunteer, sign up here.

Mark your calendars for our Initiation Brunch on Sunday, April 29th 10am-11:30am. It is mandatory for all new members and the new e-board. ALL members are invited to attend and enjoy FREE bagels and drinks! Come to Boileau Hall dressed to impress! (We will be taking lots of pictures)

4/6 Update

Thank y’all to all who could come to our gbm last night! Our 3rd annual St. Louis Public Health Fair is coming up on Saturday, April 14th from 11am-3pm on Tegeler Field. Come to participate in free activities, get free food and goodies, hear from cool public health speakers, and more! If you want to volunteer and get service hours, register here ASAP!

 

4/3 Update

Mandatory meeting THIS Thursday, April 5th at 6:30pm in Morrissey Hall Room 3400! You’ll get to sign up for some super cool service opportunities and learn more about how you can get involved in our trademark St. Louis Public Health Fair!

3/21 Update

Hi Lions! Hope you enjoyed your spring break! We will not have a meeting this week since our e-board will be attending District Convention for the district Lions Clubs this weekend. But, we will meet again next week with some fun activities, service opportunities, and more. Look out for our email and FB posts to confirm the meeting location and time! Can’t wait to see y’all soon!

2/3 Update!

Don’t forget that our next meeting on Wednesday, February 7th at 7:30pm in Morrissey Hall Room 0400 is MANDATORY for all members! We will have a special guest, the District Governor of Lions, visiting. We also have an interactive activity and FREE food!

If you would like to purchase a t-shirt, we will have them available at the meeting! You can pay by bringing $15 or venmo us!

ALSO, don’t forget that we have Hunger Banquet, one of the Lions’ events that we host and run, on Thursday, February 8th at 7pm in Pere Marquette! Come for FREE food, education, community, and dialogue!
